» Microsoft .Net
Microsoft.NET Framework is a software component that is a part of several Microsoft Windows operating systems. It has a large library of pre-coded solutions to common programming problems and manages the execution of programs written specifically for the framework. The .NET Framework is a key Microsoft offering and is intended to be used by most new applications created for the Windows platform.
The .NET Framework is a common environment for building, deploying, and running Web Services and Web Applications.
The .NET Framework supports C++, C#, Visual Basic, JScript (The Microsoft version of JavaScript) and COBOL. Third-party languages - like Eiffel, Perl, Python, Smalltalk, and others - will also be available for building future .NET Framework applications.
The new Visual Studio.NET is a common development environment for the new .NET Framework. It provides a feature-rich application execution environment, simplified development and easy integration between a number of different development languages.
We have worked with .NET since its first beta in 2000. Our experience lies in the C# language and ASP.NET. Also part of our research have been Remoting, multi-tier applications using Datasets, Web services, Interoperability with COM and Windows DLLs and Mobile applications using the Mobile version of the framework.

» PHP
HP is a powerful server-side scripting language for creating dynamic and interactive websites.
PHP is the widely-used, free, and efficient alternative to competitors such as Microsoft's ASP. PHP is perfectly suited for Web development and can be embedded directly into the HTML code.
The PHP syntax is very similar to Perl and C. PHP is often used together with Apache (web server) on various operating systems. It also supports ISAPI and can be used with Microsoft's IIS on Windows.
PHP is installed on more than 20 million websites and 1 million servers. It is also the most popular Apache module among computers using Apache as a web server
PHP originally stood for Personal Home Page. It began in 1994 as a set of Common Gateway Interface binaries written in the C programming language by the Danish/Greenlandic programmer Rasmus Lerdorf. Lerdorf initially created these Personal Home Page Tools to replace a small set of Perl scripts he had been using to maintain his personal homepage. The tools were used to perform tasks such as displaying his résumé and recording how much traffic his page was receiving. He combined these binaries with his Form Interpreter to create PHP/FI, which had more functionality. PHP/FI included a larger C implementation and could communicate with databases enabling the building of simple, dynamic web applications. |
» ASP
Active Server Pages (ASP) is Microsoft's first server-side script engine for dynamically-generated web pages. It was initially marketed as an add-on to Internet Information Services (IIS) via the Windows NT 4.0 Option Pack, but has been included as a free component of Windows Server since the initial release of Windows 2000 Server. Programming ASP websites is made easier by various built-in objects. Each object corresponds to a group of frequently-used functions useful for creating dynamic web pages. In ASP 2.0 there are six such built-in objects: Application, ASPError, Request, Response, Server, and Session. Session, for example, is a cookie-based session object that maintains variables from page to page. Web pages with the ".asp" or file extension use ASP, although some Web sites disguise their choice of scripting language for security purposes. The ".aspx" extension is not an ASP page, but an ASP.NET page, another server-side scripting language from Microsoft, based on a mixture of traditional ASP, and Microsoft's .NET technology. An ASP is somewhat similar to a server-side include or a common gateway interface (CGI) application in that all involve programs that run on the server, usually tailoring a page for the user. Typically, the script in the Web page at the server uses input received as the result of the user's request for the page to access data from a database and then builds or customizes the page on the fly before sending it to the requestor. ASP is a feature of the Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), but, since the server-side script is just building a regular HTML page, it can be delivered to almost any browser. You can create an ASP file by including a script written in VBScript or JScript in an HTML file or by using ActiveX Data Objects (ADOs) program statements in the HTML file. You name the HTML file with the ".asp" file suffix. Microsoft recommends the use of the server-side ASP rather than a client-side script, where there is actually a choice, because the server-side script will result in an easily displayable HTML page. Client-side scripts (for example, with JavaScript) may not work as intended on older browsers. We are well versed in ASP and ASP.NET. We have also built ISAPI and CGI applications for web based software, some of which are in the solutions we have provided. PHP based web sites are also part of our skill repertoire.

» JSP
JavaServer Pages (JSP) is a Java technology that lets software developers to dynamically create HTML, XML or other types of documents in response to a Web client request. The technology lets Java code and specific pre-defined actions to be embedded into static content. The JSP syntax adds additional XML-like tags, called JSP actions, to be used to invoke built-in functionality. Additionally, the technology lets the creation of JSP tag libraries that act as extensions to the standard HTML or XML tags. Tag libraries provide a platform independent way of extending the capabilities of a Web server.JSPs are compiled into Java Servlets by a JSP compiler. A JSP compiler may produce a Servlet in Java code that is then compiled by the Java compiler, or it may generate byte code for the Servlet directly. JSPs can also be interpreted on-the-fly reducing the time taken to reload changes.Architecturally, JSP can be seen as a high-level abstraction of servlets that is implemented as an extension of the Servlet 2.1 API. Both Servlets and JSPs were originally developed at Sun Microsystems. Starting with version 1.2 of the JSP specification, JavaServer Pages have been developed under the Java Community Process. JSR 53 defines both the JSP 1.2 and Servlet 2.3 specifications and JSR 152 defines the JSP 2.0 specification. As of May 2006 the JSP 2.1 specification has been released under JSR 245 as part of Java EE 5. |

» Share Point Server
SharePoint is a web-based collaboration and document management platform from Microsoft. It can be expended to host web sites that access shared workspaces and documents, as well as specialized applications from a browser. SharePoint functionality is exposed as web parts, such as a task list or discussion pane. These web parts are composed into web pages, which are then hosted in the SharePoint portal. Windows SharePoint Server (WSS), usually referred to as simply "Sharepoint," is a portal-based platform for creating, managing and sharing documents and customized Web services. WSS is available as a free download included with every Windows Server license. Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) offers an increased set of capabilites that add to and build upon the core functionalities of WSS as an inducement for system administrators to upgrade.Sharepoint was originally added on to Windows Server at the same time as Office XP under the title "SharePoint Team Services" or STS. STS was available as part of Microsoft FrontPage and could run on Windows 2000 Server or Windows XP. The 2.0 version advanced the functionality of the platform by storing both documents and meta data in a database and adding support for versioning for items held in document libraries, SQL Server and the .NET framework. This version of the software was downloaded and implemented at a rate unanticipated by Microsoft, as administrators adopted the platform as a relatively cheap and easy way to introduce collaborative document sharing and editing in Windows environments. Microsoft noted this use and embraced Sharepoint as the cornerstone of a strategy to embrace social computing, bringing Web 2.0 technologies like blogs, wikis and social networking into enterprises without some of the security risks of Internet-based software as a service (SaaS) implementations. |
